Property Taxes in Horry County
Horry County is among those counties with the lowest tax rate in the State. Your primary residence is taxed
lower than second homes. You must make an application with the tax accessor's office to receive the lower
tax rate, and should do this right away so it is not overlooked. There is also an additional credit for your
primary residence once you reach the age of 65.
